Vidar Berg is new acting CEO at Nokas after Heine Wang resigns from the position.

CEO Heine Wang has informed the board that he wants to resign from his position as CEO of Nokas and, as a chairman of Nokas cash-business, instead develop this business further. The strategy of establishing the cash- business as an independent company is thus further strengthened.

Vidar Berg acting as new CEO of Nokas

Vidar Berg is acting as new CEO, and joins the role immediately. Berg has been part of the corporate management team since 2014, and has until now been executive vice president in the Security division of Nokas.

Chairman of the board in Nokas, Amund Skarholt, says:

- Heine is one of the founders of the company and has for 32 years led the company to what it is today, a company with a strong Nordic market position with around NOK 8 billion in turnover and 17,000 employees. He has also, in all these years, been one of the driving forces in developing the security industry in a positive direction.
